Our Women Calypso Spikers reclaimed their crown as CAZOVA Senior Volleyball Champions, coming from behind to beat Barbados 3–1 (23–25, 26–23, 26–24, 31–29) in a thrilling final in Nassau over the weekend. With grit, composure, and a never-say-die spirit, the team lifted their 9th CAZOVA title and reminded the region why T&T volleyball is a force to be reckoned with!!! 👑🔥 Our volleyball men closed out the championship with a comfortable 3–1 win over Guadeloupe (25–17, 25–22, 29–31, 25–20). While they missed the podium for the first time since 2002, the squad showed fight and fire, suggesting they already have the building blocks to mount a comeback. 📸: The teams were greeted on their return at Piarco International Airport by Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, The Honourable Phillip Watts, who congratulated the team for their performances and reaffirmed the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs’ commitment to supporting sport in Trinidad and Tobago.
